Heya heya Tofu, any model of iPhone from the X (10) to current gen (17) will work actually. As long as it has Face ID (which has the AR-kit tracking used in a lot of software such as VTube Studio and iFacialMocap), you should be fine.
A lot of the apps have a streaming mode, where it lowers down your brightness and other things to reduce overheating. Though, I have seen some people use a dedicated fan/cooling ring mount so your mileage may vary with those.
I currently run an iPhone 13 Pro with the streaming option enabled and I just use a cable to keep my phone charged. I’ve used this for four years now and I’ve never had it overheat on me.
Let me know if you need any more help or suggestions.
Unfortunately, the tone of your voice was a bit different, and perhaps you even seemed more distant that usual. Fret not, for I will take initiative and exile myself for you, saving you the trouble of doing so.
I'm a little late but I gathered some funny clips and decided to make a fun Highlight video! 🌟✨
Thank you guys so much for your support in 2025, and may we make many more funny and cool memories together this 2026!!! 🩵
Just woke up started watching tiktoks and now I’m fucking crying about different mars rovers last words to their teams.
Opportunity: “My battery is low and it’s getting dark.”
Insight: “My power is really low…Don’t worry about me though, my time here has been productive and serene”
Curiosity (still alive I think): *sings happy birthday to itself every year*
Just fucking kill me.
Heya heya #vtuber and #envtuber, I'm doing an emergency tipathon as my roommate, who is the main source of income for my household, is losing his job by the end of February. v - My link if you wanted to say hi and hang out:
