Putting police outside Jewish temples isn’t enough anymore. The police get shot down so the synagogues can be attacked.
This is who we are, now. There is a place for this here.
It’ll keep happening. Hate is at home in Canada.
Here's another one: I can be pissed off with the current U.S. administration AND ALSO recognize that Trump 2 represents an opportunity for Canada to get its act together. While also being pissed off at the Liberals for leaving us so economically and culturally weak to fend him off.
The courageous people of Iran rising against this evil tyranny. A tyranny that killed 42k innocent people and is now hanging teenagers from cranes.
Risking their lives for freedom.
And thats real bravery.
For Westerners: this is the moral test of our times
Iranian women stand shoulder to shoulder with men in the streets facing massacre to end the Islamic Republic. I call on all women across the globe, find the courage to stand with them. Do not normalize Islamic terrorism.

12,000 Iranians have been killed by Khamenei’s regime for protesting.
Who is wearing pins for them?
Who is signing open letters for them?
Who is posting their names on Instagram?
Why don’t Iranians deserve the attention of Hollywood’s biggest stars?
This is Iran — and this is why I have always stood with my Persian friends. No chants for Jews to “go back to Europe,” no keffiyehs, no glorification of terrorism, no calls for endless war. But courage in the face of death — hope for a better future. A truly great people.
The fall of the Islamic Republic would be one of the most significant global events in decades.
The chances are still low, but it’s shocking to me how little coverage the protests continue to get from much of the press. I get more information from a few activists on X than any outlet right now.
People throughout Iran are risking their lives for freedom. They are being killed. Others know that if this doesn’t succeed, the regime will hunt them down and execute them. The least the press can do is tell their story.
Where are you?
Taliban just cut off internet in Afghanistan. Girls already banned from schools now lose online education too. A total blackout on knowledge = a blackout on the future. This isn’t “culture” , it is called apartheid against women.
What’s the difference between Boko Haram and the Taliban?
One kidnapped girls in Nigeria, and the world launched #BringBackOurGirls.
The other has erased girls’ education in Afghanistan banning schools, banning the internet, yet there is no global outcry.
Do Afghan women not deserve the same movement?

Time for King Charles to visit Canada, where he is head of state and has every right to go whenever he wants. I have no doubt the welcome would be ecstatic. And very symbolic. Retweet if you agree.
