My Sister Shelterbelt trees continue to be ripped to shreds by chainsaws and grinders. 30 were downed on Friday and 7 more this morning, despite the Jersey City Environmental Commission‘s request to DPWA last Wednesday to not proceed. #trees #treespeech #sustainablejc

On 16th October, 2017, one year ago, Vernon���s team were preparing to face the felling team expected to arrive at any time. It turned out rather differently. First the vigil on the previous evening, then @sj_unwin meditated from 7.00 and by 7.30 someone was spotted up the tree!
