@DavidBCollum No, I spent 20 years working in a federal penitentiary which is littered with surveillance. Once convicted an inmate looses right to privacy and can be searched and surveilled at any time. When did non convicted citizens loose these rights? Probably after 911.
Commenter on Podcast today: "Dave needs to do something about his dogs, great show except for the barking"
Me: "I did. The really noisy one got put down at 2:30 PM. Not kidding. (I couldn't pass on relating this epilogue since the innocent comment got exceedingly ironic! No offense taken, BTW."
Clarification: She had become diabetic. We lost the battle to control it. She went blind in about a week. She is now barking at us from heaven. My wife said, "No more dogs." She is capping the family at three. Seems a bit restrictive.
My portfolio was up 24% ytd at the end of January. I'm glad I didn't spend the projected 1200% return for 2026. I was this close (pinching my thumb and forfinger near each other looking through the space with my eye) to buying that yacht. I've dialed back my expectations: I am getting Chinese takeout tonight instead.
@CoffeeandaMike hosted birds of a feather, @DavidBCollum & @DoombergT who drew on their knowledge of energy fundamentals & macro data to deliver sharp, unfiltered analysis that the MSM prefer to ignore. You'd never mistake either for a wish caster for their intellectual honesty, not motivated projection, defines their work & sets them apart from the consensus huggers who dominate financial & political commentary. https://t.co/YRlcV3gVo4
If you have limited podcast listening time available, plop this one featuring @BretWeinstein and @TuckerCarlson right at the top of your list. It is genius--deeply thoughtful and timely. I will now wait for the comments to rain down from the clouds...
