@HorizonDeg I know that feeling. Wanting to spend more time, or saying something different.
Mine was having to kick her out of the car, after needing to go home. She didn’t live in the same town as I did, and it wasn’t easy to get to her.
We did our best. We loved them the best we could.
Lots have happened since I posted here last.
Mom died in mid January this year. Miss her everyday.
Moved to another state.
Flew to Australia for work and came back.
@nevernorminal@NASAArtemis@celestialsami@NancyCoddington I remember when Artemis 1 launched and I ended up excitedly picking up @lavie154 and basically saying “We’re going back to the fucking MOON!!”
Absolutely the appropriate (and maybe more) level of excitement.
@lamps_apple When I saw Curiosity launch (and Artemis 1) I made sure to just feel it. The emotions, the energy, and importantly the literal vibration of the air.
I don’t regret not really getting any good pictures. Just feeling it, that humanity was going back to the Moon…that was big.
@lessbeans Literally just had colleagues joke about people wanting to leave the country after this...and all of the other garbo related to that line of thinking.
