@Lesliebidemi@atiku Sins can be against God and other sins against the creatures. For the former, God may forgive them unconditionally while for the later, there has to be balancing/retribution.
10 years as a Medical Doctor in Nigeria.
This is what I could afford.
On this particular day some young boys in a Lexus were laughing at me with my tie under the hot sun of Abeokuta.
There was no way on earth my salary and side hustle could get me another car.
We really need to fix Nigeria for Nigerians not just for a few.
House Officers are the first resident doctors. They are the first on call, full of energy and hope, often working tirelessly through long shifts—sometimes without even a proper meal. Yet in 2025, many of them are still unpaid for months. This is unacceptable.
In the past 20 years, Nigeria has lost over 20,000 doctors to brain drain, driven by poor welfare and inadequate infrastructure. We cannot keep repeating the same mistakes and expect different outcomes.
We kindly call on the @Fmohnigeria (Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare) to resolve this issue and continue implementing policies that will improve our health systems.
@FeedbackOYSG@seyimakinde please come to our aid
1. Implement the MRTA
2. Pay LTH the new minimum wage also,
3. Pay doctors in LTH allowances obtainable in other centres,
4. Employ more Resident doctors
Today, our cry goes out to Oyo state gov't & @seyimakinde to pls make Residency palatable in Oyo & make LTH the enviable centre it once was in Nigeria. From being the highest paying centre few years ago to becoming the worst paying today. We're grossly understaffed & underpaid
Imagine after hearing the Benue Governorship judgement that said issue of non-qualification is a pre-election case and should have been determined at the Federal High Court. Meanwhile Jos governorship said it is both a pre-election and post election case. In both cases it favored APC. Recall Kano. Nigeria, my country
FG has failed to pay Medical Residency Training Fund- Resident Doctors can no longer support their training
Yet Federal Government attempts to coax doctors with "No Work, No Pay."

FG has FAILED to employ doctors for one-for-one replacement. Nigerians suffer the brunt of an overstretched health force, with their capacity to deliver quality services thinned out.
Yet the FG wants to BULLY Doctors with "No Work, No Pay."
