Last year we visited @ArmitagePrimary. @primaryfoodtech spoke about how children from urban areas would be unlikely to visit an event such as the Cheshire show due to cost & distance. Today after a huge amount of work he's brought the farm to the school. #FARMitage#farminghero

Years 2 and 3 have been working with Chester Zoo over the last few weeks which culminated in an exciting visit to the Zoo itself yourself. Here are some photos from 2CK's exciting day.

Chester Zoo took another visit to Armitage last Thursday. The children played a game which enabled them to see how destroying the rainforest effects habitats. They also looked at the packaging of different products to spot if sustainable palm oil had been used.
Our Football Team took part in a friendly match with Ashbury Meadow on Friday. Although they lost the game, they demonstrated excellent sportsmanship and managed to win the penalty shoot out at the end of the match. Well done to everyone to involved.
Chester zoo visited Year 2 and 3 yesterday! They discussed the importance of using sustainable palm oil and they also got to check out some artefacts from the zoo.
Our brilliant Curriculum for Life children have been learning the Sign Language alphabet. As part of this, they have learnt how to sign their names. An excellent effort from everyone involved!
