Armor Elite is excited to announce Armor Elite 2028/29 - Kinney!

Head Coach, Jeff Kinney, is a 3rd generation coach and brings an abundance of playing and coaching experience. He played baseball for 20 years and coached for 10 years. He has coached softball for 10 years, while also volunteering as select director and director of the local recreational league.

Assistant Coach, Adam Swearingen, the son of a retired teacher, hall of fame coach and HS Athletic Director, has been coaching youth sports for 15+ years. He has a strong background in helping young athletes develop the physical and mental skills needed to reach their potential on and off the field.

Assistant Coach, Dennis Watson, also a former baseball player and multi-sport athlete, brings 7+ years of softball coaching experience.

In addition, the coaching staff includes former D3 and current D2 softball players to provide guidance, coach specific skills and help mentor players throughout the high school years.

Brackets rained out last 2 w/es, lots of pool games. Due to vacays, I had to pitch more. Changeup & curve are working well, keeping batters off-balanced. 15.1 IP, 3.19 ERA, 7 Ks. 1.6 WHIP, 78 WEAK%, .269 OPP BA, .200 BA/RISP with a 61 S%. & I got voted MVP by the other team!

Proof that big things come in small packages, Vi Tran (2029 Coppell) crushes this 💣 for her first HR. This kid has been on 🔥, batting .472, with 1 HR, 1 Triple & 4 Doubles, despite being injured 1/2 the season.

We had our end of season banquet. I revcived my team's MVP award. I Finished my season with a 900. batting average. Had so much fun!! Thank you to all the coaches for putting in so much work each day on the field!
