@CEEBrown814 If you are seeking commercial fame then it is the norm. But I know lots of brilliant artists that manage themselves. When I was gigging full time in the 90’s performers first got an agent, and if their career went national then they added a manager.

@trpeal @RustDirt The Palace Hardware building is still there (Google Palace Centre Apartments, it is in the 900 block on the east side of the street), though the facade is different. The view is looking south from the point of view, I think, of someone standing in front of the Warner Theater.
