@nextbigfuture Haven’t you people learned anything from being overly bullish on Tesla these last years? Have a look at your revenue projections of Tesla from 5 years ago 😆
@robertpuklin@alojoh@stekkerauto Haha so true. However, we shouldn’t overcompensate either thinking Elon has lost it completely. I still believe he’s a genius and I don’t want to risk to miss an epic humanoid hype cycle in the (hopefully not too distant) future
I’m still in the process of reducing my position in the stock. It’s actually insane how many of us where (and still are) in the all in TSLA cult. Elon played us well. I was beginning to doubt him more and more this year and luckily AJ pushed me over the edge to abandon the cult. I’m not planning to go completely out of the stock, but my god I feel so much better already having sold 60% of it
@rstreets01@Daveaay Oh you are so smart, thanks for educating me! Now I understand why Jensen is also constantly wrong about his timelines, because that’s how engineering works apparently!
@rstreets01@Daveaay Robotaxi would cover roughly “half the population of the US by the end of 2025”, Optimus v3 was going to be revealed in H1 2026, I could go on but I have a suspicion it’s not going to amount to anything
And if we think about Elon’s incentives, it becomes clear as day they are not aligned with TSLA shareholders, at least not in the near term. Silly me always believed he was the greatest engineer/ceo of our time, while in fact that guy was Jensen all along. He has not been making grotesque statements and promises every other day, but has built the most insane company the world has ever seen while being 100% aligned with his shareholders
@alojoh The last few months has been a rude awakening for me. Can’t view Elon differently anymore than a serial liar. The latest Anthropic pivot is another gem. How can anyone, shareholders in particular, trust him going forward?
Yes, displaying wealth had always been an important strategy for the Dukes to project power and impose dominance. Charles the Bold simply took it to extremes. His egocentric behaviour and provocative displays of luxury went far beyond what his ancestors had done and contributed to his growing isolation. Also, don't forget about his explosive temperament and impulsive decision-making...
