"We don't need the Strait." "Go open it yourselves." "Fine, we'll open it." "Actually, we're blockading it." "OK not blockading everyone."
Five positions. Six weeks. Two of them today. And our armed forces just sat there, sipping tea, watching America negotiate with America over a strait Iran already blockades.
Empires used to fall in centuries. This one can't hold a policy for an afternoon.
The Oakville Beaver & Burlington Post are restarting their print editions. The new plan is to print monthly editions. It will be interesting to see how these newspapers adapt to monthly printing when the news will be old, sales & PICs will be over, & community updates completed.
Imran Khan served his country, he was the Prime Minister of the country and he cannot be hidden in darkness. This is not a question of politics or what party one belongs to, it is a question of basic human decency. No prisoner should be treated so inhumanely.
What a national disgrace! How embarrassing is it to bring world leaders to the White House just to disrespect and use ’em as props and punchlines?
That’s what this guy did to Zelensky, did to the South African President. All to distract us from his Big Ugly Scam, a bill that feeds billionaires and starves American kids.
The U.S. President had no hesitation in claiming a “white genocide” in South Africa—despite lacking evidence. He welcomed white farmers from South Africa in the U.S. as refugees and today allowed them to confront the South African President at the White House with their concerns before global media. In stark contrast, the U.S. has remained silent and complicit in the face of over seven decades of Palestinian displacement, apartheid, and genocide under Israeli occupation. Uncountable scenes from the West Bank of Israeli settlers harassing palestinians, firing upon them, taking over their homes and forcing them out of their own land over the years kept playing in my mind. How does one even begin to compare the situation in Gaza. Extreme empathy for one people while complete apathy towards another screams hypocrisy, injustice, moral failure, racial and religious bias and political opportunism. There may be a universal charter of human rights—but clearly, not all of us are considered human.
Figured I'd never be more embarrassed to be an American than when Trump went after Zelensky in the White House. We hit rock bottom as a nation, can't possibly get any worse.
Cue Trump's shameful meeting with South African President Ramaphosa today.
I want to crawl under a rock.
Julius Malema has never killed a single person!
Netanyahu has murdered over 50 000 Palestinians!
This is how he is Received at the Whitehouse!
The Hypocrisy is bottomless!!
The Pakistani officer is giving a sober analysis of the day India started the war. Indians who want truth and talk about it like @PravinSawhney are being banned in India. There are free VPNs available. Sane Indians should learn to use them.
India has launched strikes on several Pakistani air bases, including in Rawalpindi, home to military HQ. Pakistan was already signaling its intent to widen its military response to Indian air strikes. It will certainly do so now.
India and Pakistan are perilously close to war.
Aha, now it makes sense. Yalda is heavily biased in favour of Indian Hindutva forces because they are her mates.
From watching her interview with Pakistani officials, I was convinced she was anti-Pakistan ( I just wasn't sure why). Now I know. Now we all know...
@SkyYaldaHakim
Dear @SkyNews , serious ethical concerns arise when anchor @SkyYaldaHakim —now hosting at Sky—covers India-Pakistan tensions while appearing socially close to BJP spokesperson @JaiveerShergill.
She has been seen socializing with him and now features him on air, giving him a platform to speak against Pakistan without subjecting him to the kind of critical scrutiny expected in responsible journalism.
How can neutrality be claimed when the journalist is personally connected to a political figure directly involved in one side of the conflict?
Is this balanced reporting, or narrative shaping?
We urge @SkyNews, @pressfreedom, @RSF_inter, @OIC_OCI, and @IFJGlobal to reflect on whether such coverage meets the standards of international journalism ethics.
Media credibility demands more than just appearances—it requires accountability.

I have NEVER deleted tweets but today I am deleting all tweets that I made without verifying the claims of our Indian media channels.
I feel sad not because of tweeting but more so because I (wrongly) believed what I saw!
