SABC 1 trending in the age of Netflix and Showmax? We really are living in a time, and country, of miracles 😂. Makes us feel like anything is possible... like safer communities in SA, maybe?

[AROSA @AROSA_NPC]

Besides giving us a great opportunity to throw shade, one thing #DateMyFamily does really well is show us how important it is to have family and friends you can rely on. A community.

[AROSA @AROSA_NPC]

It's fitting that #ThisBodyWorksForMe, a show centered around female sexual and economic empowerment, is trending on International Women's Day.

Whether or not you agree with the show's content, the women featured on it have a voice and a choice...as they should.

Preventing is better than reacting.
As a country, we need to be proactive in our fight against GBVF by introducing, and supporting, initiatives that aim to prevent GBVF instead to reacting to it. A good place to start would be shifting our mindsets and conversations on this issue

[AROSA @AROSA_NPC]

At a @UNICEF workshop this afternoon, we learnt how important it is to have a network.

Your network is the the people that help, encourage and support you as you work towards your goals.

Sounds a lot like a community, right?
