Delhi Police Sources say, "The Delhi Police alleges 2873 men with criminal antecedents were present at the protest site between July 20th and July 25th. These criminals have been identified using the Facial Recognition System and through technical means. Police are investigating whether these men were involved in violence that broke out at Jantar Mantar, in and around New Delhi. These criminals are involved in heinous crimes like sexual assault, murder and crimes involving minors (POSCO). Some of these alleged criminals came back to the protest site repeatedly. These particular criminals have serious offences registered against them"

साथ ही, हर दंगाई पर किया FIR निरस्त किया जाए चाहे वो प्रोटेस्टर छात���र थे या नहीं।

यह तमाचा जरूरी था सरकार के लिए। मुझे प्रसन्नता होनी चाहिए क्योंकि मैं सात महीने से शिक्षा मंत्रालय की बर्बादी पर लिख और बोल रहा था। पर मैं दुखी हूँ कि दंगाइयों के सामने सरकार कायरता से बिछ गई। फिर भी, परिस्थितियों के आलोक में अभिमान को पीछे रख कर समाज के हित में ही निर्णय है।

जब सरकार पुलिस का काम भी स्वयं करती है, तो यही सब होता है। मुझे याद है कि 19 दिसंबर 2019 को जामिया नगर का दंगा @DelhiPolice मे बंद करा लिया था, पूरा क्षेत्र खाली था। सरकार ने फिर अगले दिन उन्हें बैठने पर छोड़ दिया ताकि दिल्ली चुनाव में लाभ लिया जा सके।

इन सबमें एक बात और है। @RSSorg और @BJP4India के सौ से अधिक संगठन हैं, वीसी बनाए हैं, कला-विज्ञान की संस्थाएँ हैं जिसमें इन्होंने चेयरमैन बना�� हैं, वो हरामखोर कहाँ हैं? किसी ने एक लेख भी लिखा सरकार या विद्यार्थियों के पक्ष में?

वास्तविकता यह है कि आज की डेट में इस सरकार के पास न तो कोई संस्था है, न व्यक्ति। मोदी और शाह हर कार्य नहीं कर सकते। संस्थाएँ इसी दिन काम में आती हैं। अब आइटी सेल, चाटुकार गिनें कि कितने व्यू आ रहे हैं।

यह आरंभ है। जिस दिन पचास और सौ लोग थे जंतर मंतर पर, दिल्ली पुलिस के दो थाने और तीन बसें काफी थीं। आपने राम मंदिर की गर्मी से बचने के लिए उसे चलने दिया। पीएम के सलाहकारों पर यह प्रश्नचिह्न है कि वो स्थिति को समझ क्यों नहीं पाए?

सरकार को क्या सच में लगता है इथेनॉल का विषय दब जाएगा? राम मंदिर पर चर्चा नहीं होगी? सब होगी, समय
से होगी। जैसे कि शिक्षा पर चर्चा सात महीने से हो रही थी, लेकिन समय पर बवाल हुआ, जिसने भी किया।

राम मंदिर, इथेनॉल भी लौटेगा। यह यहाँ नहीं रुकेगा। सरकारी नकारेपन पर हर पार्टी रोटी सेंकेगी। मेरा दुख यह है कि अमृतकाल में त्यागपत्र दिया गया।

Never been a fan of Dharmendra Pradhan, especially after the UGC regulations mess under his watch.

Regarding the NEET, I repeatedly posted that he should've resigned back then only. Taking accountability at that moment would have actually carried moral weight.

Resigning now, however, is a major L. His own resignation letter doesn't state that he is stepping down due to a failure of responsibility; instead, it claims he is resigning so that "anti-national forces don't take advantage of the situation." What is that if not a confession of helplessness in the face of chaos?

If the narrative is that he stepped down to prevent opportunistic elements from exploiting the protests, what does that say about the govt? What is the point of being in power for years if anarchists still hijack and dictate terms to you on national issues?

The right approach even now would have been to keep crack down on opportunists, while simultaneously inviting "only the actual students" to a live telecasted open forum in a major auditorium, acknowledge responsibility directly, announce a resignation, and reassure them that the new leadership will fix the system.

Bowing down to pressure only encourages lawlessness. Sure, you might buy a brief breathing room as this protest winds down, but you’ve given agitators another taste of success. They will be back, stronger next time. Hope you’re prepared.
