Just over 1/3 rated the impact of disclosing positively, even fewer rated subsequent adjustments made positively. Results highlight the need for organisations, rather than autistic individuals, to take more responsibility for facilitating disclosure and improving outcomes to it.

After 9 years with #Interserve this is my last week at work as I am about to take a 6 months sabbatical leave to write a book on #autism and work.

@Autism Christmas day is the one day of the year where I easily get overloaded and melt down as I don't feel in control and I am pressurised to fully follow the nerotypical family rules of the day. I deal with that by having permission to take time and the dog also gets well walked!

Having this confidence does make it easier for the next generation!
