@PastorTrey05 It blows mine routinely. I ask God to redeem his name from that muck, then I walk away and think about something else before a Confederate church ruins my day.
Georgia GOP Chair Goes Full Flat-Earth, Says Globes Are Part of a Conspiracy
“Every store, you buy a globe. There’s globes everywhere. Every movie, every TV show, news media — why? It doesn’t make sense.” https://t.co/imjoNj1xTM
@kempton_timothy I'm sure you mean well, and you are as welcome to your opinion as others are to their anecdotes - but I would not suggest either as a source for financial/marriage strategy.
@kempton_timothy Divorced people are far worse off financially than singles, but the risk of divorce has been dropping, and marrying between 25 and 32 has the lowest risk of divorce:

I feel so meh about AI. Currently, it is only as accurate/fair as the most average sample. That's a poor base for info/decisions that may affect our future selves.
@jlheelan @ThomasC36998943 @hcarolineking Abuse makes me angry, too, and I support regulation. But - I am not abusing my daughter. When she took the AP Bio test all alone at the local public school last year, she was the 1st to take it there in 5+ yrs. We h.s. because I want more for her, not less. (She got a 5, btw.)

@straczynski My teen daughters and I are watching through the series right now - first time for them, and it took some coercion on my part. Watching them go from "what the heck is this?" to "hurry up or we're starting without you" has been hilarious and satisfying.
It amazes me that I live in this little intersection of history, geography, and privilege where I, a woman, can drive hours from my home, fly to a new city, and stay alone in a hotel room - all relatively unmolested. For much of the world, for much of history, this is/was not so.
Her name is Geraldine Tyler. After falling $2,300 behind on her property taxes, the county added $13,000 in penalties, interests & fees.
When she couldn't pay, they seized her condo—valued at $93,000—sold it for $40,000, and kept the leftover $25,000. https://t.co/o8I5vfQVuN
It’s naïve to give yourself credit for hitting a triple if you were born on third base. It is equally naïve to expect a person who was born in the parking lot to get to third base without your help.
@CNN@CNN The next time you interview a CEO who praises RTO, ask how much of their personal and business portfolio is invested in commercial real estate. Ask them how much their bottom line is affected by empty office spaces.
