@ShannonSevigny Actually always, I try to begin and end with the client and I breaking, easing nerves- leaving the therapy room more at ease with humor, laughter is therapy in itself and releasing endorphins after deep, hard etc client's work - depleted energy
@injusticewtf The court case Johhny &Amber ws a public TV show - it should never have been televised, the more you invest in what went on you're playing into the joke of it all..
IF it was a domestic abuse case, NOT defamation of character, that would be different. Let's move on...?
@DrMarinaHarris It is 'safe' in this room to feel...even if it's the only place for a little while...after 4 more sessions I cried for the first time since 4years old. I didn't know how to feel- she said just let it show you, breathe. still in the room with therapist doing feelings-soon + & -
@beginnercptsd Incredible book...hold so much trauma in our bodies...helped me understand so much.
Waking the Tiger: Healing Trauma is also fantastic to read after by Peter Levine
Shocking,if report correct-CSA NOT to tackled by the police,'hidden for the public',an outrage,if still hidden, stay taboo it will carry on.Ruining innocent lives

@SecretlySurviv1 @StevenJPayton Goodness how very scary...hard to forget too. Such vivid real dreams can inadvertently make it hatder to sleep despite the exhaustion from the horror of the dreams...that is how I feel... sorry it was so horrid. Hope you can find some peace knowing it is ok now & safe?🕊
#csaqt i empathise & understand this...the abuse happened in the home, from a young child,&following from 14 into a 10 yrs domestic violence rel. So being inside, trapped inside is NOT 'safety' for me. I cannot escape
@StevenJPayton For me, lockdown/isolation is definitely bringing up the memories, day and night and making the nightmares far more vivid and real time. #csaqt
Routine helps hugely, normally no matter what it is impossible to stick to, fatigue, 'survival' lockdown routine.Night terrors seem to be day terrors too. Insomnia is taking its toll then I am fast a sleep for 30mins sporadically.Keeping to the dogs routine is working for me
#csaqt I do not think that is daft at all...we are in survival mode, while figuring out how to survive a new situation/time, survival mode of a different sort kicking in...i think anyway?!
@beam_project@emsurvivors Thank you so much. Yes I do feel all a bit muddled but expected I thought and you have confirmed that butbamazing outcome. And he has a heavy sentence so he cannot hurt more children. It is sinking in. Thank you.

This is my greatest fear too. I only explained it to authorities... knowing I will be explaining it all in Court soon makes me shake - but yhe more we try i think it gets easier. Saying the words out loud is too much huh! #csaqt
