This month and beyond, as we recognize Tamil Heritage Month, we’re committed to partnering with the Tamil community and to providing opportunities for students to deepen their understanding of the rich culture, heritage and contributions of Tamil Canadians to our country.

This year, there are significant days that fall on the weekend or during the deferred Spring Break in April. To ensure Peel students and staff continue to participate, learn and deepen their understanding, alternate dates have been identified.

In the event of an inclement weather day, students who typically attend school in person will engage in learning at home with the goal that it will be remote, synchronous learning where possible. Students enrolled in online will continue with their regular school routines.

As we return to school on Feb. 16, mandatory masking protocols (inside and outdoors, while on school property) for students in Kindergarten to grade 12 will be in effect.

On Feb. 16, 2021, all buses are cancelled & school buildings are closed to students due to inclement weather conditions.

Learning will continue at home through remote, synchronous instruction, where possible.

As announced earlier today by the Government of Ontario, Peel elementary and secondary students will NOT return to in-person learning on Jan. 25.

Students will continue to learn remotely until Feb. 10.
