As a musical theatre performer who also does ballet, I will defend the shoes. 🫡

To say it’s ‘impossible’ to do ballet in these shoes isn’t EXACTLY true. Musical theatre choreography uses a lot from ballet and we wear character heels. It’s true she wouldn’t be able to go on pointe obviously, but she WOULD be able to turn, which is something I saw people complaining about. We turn and have turnout in more extreme shoes than this lol. So I took it as blending old with new (and old again, because heels were worn before pointe shoes).

I would have liked to see her have pointe shoes though. My Odile inspired VTuber has them (@Soliana_VTuber ) so I understand the disappointment. But it’s funny to see a lot of dance misinformation. You can turn in stilettos but these aren’t even stilettos lol. The heel looks sturdy like a character shoe in the art anyway.
