@mixedracedman @Steven_Swinford It's absolutely possible to be successful and incognito. By definition you just don't hear about the incognito successes 😂
@ElizabethKeesey@susie_dent Has always been regularly used in a pitmatic dialect though...
c.f.
"I should gan hyem" (I should go home),
vs.
"I should'a went hyem" (I should have gone home)
While "I should'a gan hyem" feels quite unnatural...
Why must I have to confirm this again and again. And be accused of "probably breaking the law" just because I don't watch TV.
Surely this is a waste of time for an ever increasing proportion of the population...
They're just irritating us all because of the 10% I guess?
@King_Iggy_ @csanyi_andras@marcgravell Indeed, there's also open source implementations and, god forbid, actual developer documentation 😅
I can see a future paradigm where Q&A sites like SO are no longer but documentation/code samples become a staple to feed LLMs (even if another LLM has actually produced them)
@PhatBoyG@ddoomen 90% of the reqs went away having used the system for a while.
This obviously isn't the case for all customers, but there's definitely a lesson to be learnt that "you aren't the first person to ask for that" ☺️
@PhatBoyG@ddoomen I've just "finished" a D365 Project Ops implementation for a customer in 3 weeks, from requirements to go live.
Obviously they had special reqs to begin with, but I convinced them to go OotB with min customisation for 2 months.
And (a slightly chubbier) Dr Spengler as the pediatrician 😂
Wow, haven't seen it in decades but this film is a veritable cornucopia of pop culture references
I found that a little rude to begin with, but then he cancelled 10 seconds later anyway, still 5 minutes away...
I'm swallowing my annoyance at "people" and their attitudes
Ok, so I obviously knew Joan Wilder was also Jessica Rabbit, but I totally never realised until tonight that she was also Chandler's Dad... Never put two and two together after all these years..! 😅
I'm not at all one for conspiracy theories or anything, I normally roll my eyes. But the two of us work from home and get quite a lot of deliveries. On at least 3 occasions I can think of, I've had an "undeliverable" or "you weren't home" when we blatantly were. So yes, this one.
