Serious question thoughโฆ why do these AI labs always feel the need to quietly nerf a model that people are actually enjoying just so they can push the next one harder???
Opus 5.5 shouldnโt be getting the silent treatment tbh
anyway fable 5.5 is closer then we thought....
Vivaldi's โWinter,โ visualized in a fascinating way, so that the auditory experience is even more intense; one can literally โseeโ the music, so to speak
That moonlight isn't real.
Every drop of it is oil paint...
It's called A Moonlit Lane, and it was painted by John Atkinson Grimshaw in 1874. A full moon hangs behind bare, tangled branches, the road below still wet from the rain, and every puddle and wall and dark hedge holds a little of that cold silver light. You can almost feel the chill in the air and hear the silence of the street...
The man who painted it was born in a cramped terraced house in Leeds, worked as a clerk for the railway, and taught himself almost everything he knew. At twenty-four, to his parents' horror, he quit his job to paint.
He even borrowed from photography, projecting scenes onto his canvas with lenses, and some of his contemporaries sneered that the results showed no marks of handling or brushwork, as if that were a flaw rather than an artistic miracle...
But the painter who mattered most saw it differently: James McNeill Whistler, the man famous for his own night paintings, came to visit him and admitted: "I considered myself the inventor of nocturnes until I saw Grimmy's moonlit pictures."
The more we share and seed open weight models, the less THEY can consolidate power and control over AI.
Every user, model creator, and seeder in the network makes it stronger for everyone else building on it.
The marriage of decentralized, peer-to-peer infrastructure and sovereign AI was inevitable.

so Anthropic files for IPO and then immediately drops a blog post calling one of their biggest open-weight competitors a danger to the world? classic!
now seems like a good time to point out that I built and run OBLITERATUS, an abliteration framework with over 8k stars and 1.5k forks on GitHub, using Anthropicโs very own models! ๐ค
