I remember I was driving back to my job from my lunch break (I likely went to Booster Juice and bought myself a Bananas-a-whey (I swear to God I’m not trying to do a product placement) this is how my brain works tying events and remembering the moment in time.

But then I also get obsessed and sidetracked (I had to know what the name of the drink was - it was killing my that I couldn’t remember)

Back to Gordie. I heard of his passing on my local national radio station (CBC Radio One or Two?).

I knew he was sick and was following his timeline related to his advocacy of residential school survivors. He wanted to be of service to humanity in his last few years of life.

I bawled like a baby when he was honoured by the indigenous community and welcomed him into the fold. Gave him a spirit name. It was beautiful ceremony and Gord was also overcome with emotion.

I love Anita Anand
We had some amazing female MPs and public health advisors navigating Canadians thru a very chaotic and stress lockdown. Anand was tasked as Minister of Health in sourcing and deploying COVID 19 vaccines to the nation
It was an incredibly competitive and cutthroat market (deplorable state of affairs that countries had to pitch to pharmaceutical cos to obtain life saving vaccines.)
She handled the pressure with grace. It wasn’t perfect but she had to work with what she had in a truly fucked up and broken world order system that is our blue planet hurtling through space.

Oh cool. Thanks for posting this. I thought she was a mechanic /driver for the equivalent of a M.A.S.H. unit.
She rocks. She rightfully dressed down her grandson when he in his youthful stupidity wore a questionable Hugo Boss suit to a costume themed event (he was a teenager after all - doing dumb things are ingrained in their D.N.A)

I know I did dumb things but it was mostly as an accessory or unwitting bystander to my twin brother’s idiotic schemes.
