I always speak highly of anyone that I got to work with in music. I worked with legendary artists and producers. Can you imagine being a former music executive doing the same bitter ass interview for 20 years. It must be hell.
Dame Dash says that Jay-Z didn't believe in N.O.R.E. early on in his career, claiming he didn't want to sign him to Roc-A-Fella:
"They didn't believe in N.O.R.E., Jay didn't believe in N.O.R.E. It's so funny to me how like, you know, N.O.R.E. acts like he's his number one man now, when N.O.R.E. couldn't even get a conversation with him. When the vote came down for N.O.R.E. to be on Roc-A-Fella, Jay said 'No.'"

One more game and the Knicks are back in the NBA Finals. I haven't seen a Knicks team this dominant in my lifetime. Even when they won, it was always a struggle. What we're watching right now is something different.
They are two of the greatest artists of this generation. You are doing yourself a disservice not focusing on the music. Who cares about that other stuff.
It doesnβt look like itβs ever going to happen as things got too twisted with this battle. However, it would be dope if Drake and Kendrick collaborated on some music together one day.
When I worked in the music industry I got to be around Drake and Kendrick Lamar a good amount of times. Kendrick and TDE toured with us the Summer before GKMC came out. You guys understand that you can like both of them, right?
The music industry can be a catalyst to so many other industries and opportunities. Iβve seen friends firsthand start in music but build real wealth elsewhere.
Tech, film & TV, real estate, hospitality, food & beverage, etc.
Music touches everyone, so it can take you anywhere.
