@mim_djo It allowed reruns pretty easily if vendors messed something up (common) and we dedupe and do change tracking via SCD type 2 to our presentation layer. None of this is super high volume on the file side though.
@mim_djo When I was building file ingestion I added a file date and file name column to my landing tables in snowflake. Then every load would first delete any data with the same file name before loading the new data. Also had a pretty sophisticated schema evolution procedure to help.
@pdrmnvd Alright, this is exactly me right now. Was building lots everyday at my last job as Data Engineer, now I’m at a startup and this is my life. Not sure how to feel.
@robertneace@MichaelEunice5 @Cdav261 @DuckFootball@BaresGreg Nah this is good. He is good. He even beat Oregon even once upon a time. Congrats. I would take a playoff appearance over the Heisman any day. Pretty sure Nix would too. But if he keeps playing like he has been against OrSt and Wash, the trophy is his. Just too many losses.
@DaleShafer@DanWolken North Alabama... Is not a big win. Objectively, all teams that played a non-conference cupcake this weekend should drop 4 spots automatically.
@JBRADY808@dekim8@DouglasTS@ESPNBooger Nix had 7 TD after 1 half and 1 drive. Really bad OPI wiped it but you still saw it and can make your own conclusion.
@mikeevansgoat1 @georgewrighster@huskylenz SOS, depending on the model, is based on opponent record. In the SEC, the schools they play the most, have a combined record that includes one less guaranteed loss than other conferences. This leads to a YoY perception advantage basically for free, and that compounds.
