She’s signed. I know how she makes me feel. As the viewer, how do you feel? Can you say it in one word?

A few more tweaks and she’ll be done. I love how happy she is.
She likes people watching and long walks on the beach.🏖️

As an art teacher November/December means no time to paint. But I did finish Mother Nature. Even in Ceramics there’s parts I like and parts I’d change. Guess I’ll make another one next year 😊 .

This how it looks when I’m choosing what to bring to an art sale. How do I put any of them back in the closet?
Come to the @distilleryofmodernart today from 1-5pm and buy art for a good cause.

Getting paintings out for the show this morning left me with these two older paintings in the back. I love the pairing and they’re both really exploring the same ideas: connections, memory, communication. Things I’m worried about losing.

I’m experimenting with heightened contrast between the white of the maps and the darkness of the colors. Moody. I feel like she’ll definitely be moody, and so be it. We all have those moments.

I needed some quiet time Friday afternoon and experimented with a concentric collage background.
Very relaxing.

It only takes one of these to inspire a new background. Then I gather more than I need. The magic 🪄 is coming next.

Taking a break this weekend to refill the creative well. We all need a brain break, a physical break, and some fresh air.
Sometimes not doing is just as important as doing.
Have a great weekend!
