Ah, time goes by so fast...

Alison Zapata and I working on part of the mural, "The Legacy of Butterflies", captured by the one and only Chris Ivey.

I loved this whole process. Stay tuned for the next one. https://t.co/7UN7mb1xHH

Nah. He doesn't have to show her anything. She was giving herself a panic attack with her own racism and entitlement. Black people don't owe white people proof of innocence at the whims of racist whites who will always see us as a guilty party regardless.

@AttorneyCrump @keyonharrold @ArloHotels She’s about to have a panic attack, just show her the phone

@imsooochi @Quinnderland_ @Mulaflare What you said is stupid af. Now you can move on. And stay over there.

[Natiq Jalil @ArtofNatiq]

@Sogik0 @Snickletweet @op_lluffy_ @TheLizzyWonder @SineQuaN0nUSA @FaraPhotography @lkcohen112 @alexflorias @Mulaflare He was terrified, bish! I know because I've been in a similar situation before. The beginning of the encounter is available. She approached his car and tried to assault him through his window. You're making shit up to fit your preconceived notions. He didn't start this.

[Natiq Jalil @ArtofNatiq]

@JenniferDiBabbo @RichInFacts @Mulaflare Dude is not fine. Racism is mad traumatic. And not being able to do anything about it because you know that the moment you defend yourself you've become the guilty party makes it even more stressful. So yes, he is hurt. He just did the best he could...

[Natiq Jalil @ArtofNatiq]

@Snickletweet @TheLizzyWonder @SineQuaN0nUSA @FaraPhotography @lkcohen112 @Sogik0 @alexflorias @Mulaflare She hit and kicked this dude in the video. That is assault...

[Natiq Jalil @ArtofNatiq]

@ohsheabutter @Mulaflare @Juju4Loot Nah. Without video evidence, it our word against Karen's. So f**k that. Mental illness is only speculation here. He did what he could to protect himself.

I asked @ArtofNatiq if he thinks artwork has the power to bring change. "To me, artwork is one of the most important catalysts for change. Art moves hearts. Art inspires. Art motivates. Art calls people to action."

I've been doing what I can to support black artists and businesses. Last week I purchased a print from Art of Natiq. Today, it arrived, and it is gorgeous. I'm planning to have it framed. He's very talented. I highly recommend his work: https://t.co/d5nl3L30Ej
