@arjunswritings the implication is that the United States government (you know, the deep state and this Administration) could do better, and of course, the U.S. Congress would appropriate huge sums of money to put out fires far from where anyone lives.
@RepTomBarrett If you are looking for someone to blame, consider a certain US political party that has spent the past 30 years calling climate change a hoax. The far north has heated more than anywhere. The boreal forest is now mis-matched with climate, and is dying off on its northern edge.
@mirandadevine@StephenM One day, people will look back on this speech, and ask how this clearly delusional speaker was ever placed in a position of public trust and responsibility. It sounds to me like his own inward jealousy and self-hatred projected onto others.
@SecRubio@POTUS So, how does that square with our President and his minions consistently lying about almost everything on a daily basis, beginning with "Who won the 2020 election?" There is certainly no greatness in this Administration.
@MeghanMcCain If you are looking for someone to blame, consider a certain US political party that has for 30 years declared climate change is fake. Actually, it is happening much faster in the far north, & the future is now. The scale of the boreal forest decline is global and continental.
@InezFeltscher Temperatures are rising far more rapidly in the northern latitudes than here. We now have a mis-match between existing boreal vegetation and climate. the forests are dying off in the north, then burnin, and we have reached one of those "tipping points."
@terrideboer Boreal forests in Scandinavia, Russia, and Canada are all drying out and buring because of that pesky climate change. If you want someone to blame, you might consider a certain US political party that has spent the past 30 years insisting climate change is fake.
@jacobs_jam9548@HormuzLetter People who think they need to protect their communications against the deep state rather than foreign adversaries, and consequently do chats in Signal (like our Secretary of Defense) are very vulnerable .
@realBrandonGill At this point, you have demonstrated that you have no clue how election interference at the national level could possibly be effective.
@MarshaBlackburn Why just far-left terrorists? Do you like far right terrorists? How about ethnonationalist terrorists? nihilists? Or is your point here that people whose views you disagree with are, definition, also terrorists?
@RepHuizenga Canadian, Scandinavian, and Russian boreal forests are drying out over vast areas because of that pesky climate change. If you are looking for someone to blame, you might consider a certain US political party that has told us “climate change is fake” for the past 30 years.
@bscholl Water scarcity depends on 1) climate and geography; 2) institutional arrangements; 3) how much you are prepared to pay. Climbing the water supply curve via infrastructure or anything else is very expensive.
@RepLangworthy Boreal forests in Canada and Russia are drying out and heating up because of that pesky climate change, opening the way to wild fires. If you want someone to blame, you might consider a U.S. political party that has spent the past 40 years denying climate change exists.
@SenMikeLee Well, some of us are mad that Tod Blanche conspired this trump to steal huge sums of money from the Treasury, and others are angry that Tod Blanche helped hide Epstein documents, and some are mad about both. Why are you not mad about either?
