Assuming (though based on past trend) market will trend is just an assumption but overreaction is fact as you already saw it. So, don't you think fact has some edge over assumption? What do my friends think of this? (II)

Entering a trade assuming market will trend in a certain direction is proactive whereas taking counter-trend (with some reversal signal) seeing that market has overreacted (spike) is a reactive approach. (I)

U shouldn't trade any financial instruments if u always blame someone(thing) else when u r wrong. U sud accept the fact that u failed to anticipate those factors which made u wrong in the first place! Blaming others only proves that u do not understand the dynamics of the market.
