The fact that a video of a woman simply going about her day can spark political hysteria tells you everything about the fragile, regressive mindset behind it. But I’m not surprised! What else can you expect from followers of a leader with a track record of deeply derogatory remarks against women?

For the record: the woman in that video is not me. But even if it were, why should it matter?

Why are a woman’s clothes, appearance, or joy still treated as matters for public trial?

When they can’t challenge us on our policies, governance, or track record, they resort to manufacturing narratives about personal lives of leaders and their family members. Misogyny is the oldest weapon of those who have nothing substantive to positively contribute.

And, To the woman in the video, dragged into this simply due to a passing resemblance: I’m sorry. You look stunning, and I hope you keep living on your own terms (and loving those highlights! ✨).

I pray to Agathiyar everyday and found out this amazing Agathiyar temple at Chitthikapakkam. How I found that temple, a miracle will be written in a book someday, by Gods grace! A call for help came from a responsible person from that temple. Somehow the intuition asked me to reach out to Dr Ravi Prasad. He was magnanimous and kind enough to make sure the bed whatever they needed is delivered within a week. I wish and pray Dr and his family, a healthy and prosperous life. Love you Doctor!

Our sole objective is the welfare and progress of our people. We look forward to the active support and cooperation of the Union Government for the continued growth of Tamil Nadu.

MK Stalin is 73 years old. He will be 78 when the next Tamil Nadu elections are held in 2031. Suffice to say, he will probably not be CM ever again.

Pinarayi Vijayan is 80. Will be 85 in 2031. Even if the Left continues to be a dominant political force in Kerala (it has been declining precipitously in India), he will probably not be CM again.

They join a long list of stalwarts of South Indian politicians who have probably served their last day in the CM's office, or are serving their term and will find it hard to get re-elected.

- KCR (K Chandrashekar Rao) : He is 72. He will be 75 come the next Telangana elections. Even if BRS manages to win that election, expect him to groom KTR to take over the reins very soon into his term.

- N Chandrababu Naidu : He is 76. Will be 79 during the next state elections. Even if TDP wins, will be very hard for him to serve the full 5 years from 79-84 years of age. Expect him to hand over the reins to Nara Lokesh in the next term.

- BS Yeddyurappa : He is 83. BJP will go gung-ho to win the 2028 elections in Karnataka come what may, but they are not going to back an 85 year old as CM face. He has had his fair share of conflicts with the BJP high command, so expect him to be pushed to the sidelines as well.

- Siddaramaiah: He is 77, going to be 80 by the time of the next elections. DK Shivkumar is dying to be CM of Karnataka, and he would have been had it not been for the Congress high command. He is also going to be "sunsetted" by the time the next elections arrive.

- EPS (Edappadi K. Palaniswami) - He is 72. He is not going to become CM this time. Vijay will never align with the BJP-AIAIDMK alliance. He will be 77 by the time the next elections take place in 2031. Surely the AIADMK dispensation would want a fresher, younger face to lead the alliance the next time.

We are entering unprecedented territory - several stalwarts of south indian politics who have defined the politics for decades, if not generations will go into the twilight around the same time. "Chaos is not a pit, it's a ladder" said one Petyr Bailish on Game of Thrones not so long ago. This is probably the time when we will see fresh faces emerge, unexpected political events happen, and see younger, talented politicians make hay when the sun shines. We've already seen a massive turnaround in Tamil Nadu with Vijay's superstar showcase. Expect to see even more of that in the coming few years.

Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat:

Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way.

Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned.

You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict.

Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect.

Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself.

As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal.
