A Brownian bridge is a stochastic process that starts and ends at fixed values, usually zero, while behaving like Brownian motion in between. It captures random paths that are “pinned” at both endpoints, giving fluctuations that shrink near the boundaries. In probability, Brownian bridges appear in limit theorems, goodness-of-fit tests like Kolmogorov–Smirnov, and conditioning arguments. In machine learning, they support diffusion-model sampling, path-regularization, stochastic simulation, and training score-based generative models where endpoints or constraints are fixed. In real life, Brownian bridges model phenomena such as constrained particle motion, trajectories of assets conditioned to reach a target price, interpolation of noisy signals, and uncertainty in time-dependent forecasting. Their ability to represent randomness under boundary constraints makes them a powerful tool for modeling structured uncertainty.

#WATCH | Colombia officially withdraws its earlier statement that it issued expressing condolences on the loss of lives in Pakistan after the Indian strikes; earlier, Shashi Tharoor, who is leading the all-party delegation, raised concern and said - we (India) were a little disappointed in the reaction of the Colombian government.
