Hon' ble Mr Prime Minister,
Pained to ask: is this the way how you describe the meritorious students of the esteemed Jadavpur University? Is this your concept of decorum and courtesy? Jadavpur University has been receiving top ranks from your Government’s NIRF ranking framework year after year, and you descend to insult that centre of excellence? You stoop so low?
The students of the Jadavpur University have earned their place through merit and walk out with degrees, with intellect, with the ability to question. That is not anarchy. That is education and that is excellence.
Anarchy is not students raising their voices.
Anarchy is using bulldozers as instruments of power instead of justice. Anarchy is when farmers die and their voices are crushed. Anarchy is when those convicted of rape and other heinous crimes walk free for political convenience. Anarchy is denying the poor their rightful dues. Anarchy is dividing a nation along religious lines for votes. Anarchy is refusing to face the press, refusing accountability, refusing questions.
Anarchy is refusing to acknowledge that Manipur is burning but you are busy with elections.
Students protesting do not constitute a breakdown of democracy - it is democracy in motion.
Please do not defame the educational institution which was inspired by our early nationalists including Sri Aurobindo as a pioneer. Please do not defame Bengal.
With the people as my strength and democracy as my path, I stepped forward today to file my nomination.
Everything I have worked for has always been centred around the well-being of my people. It is their trust, their affection, and their support that continues to guide this journey to protect Bengal’s progress and to stand firm against the Bangla-Birodhi forces that seek to take it backwards.
The love and blessings I received today were a powerful reminder of what we stand for; a Bengal that chooses unity, dignity, and development. In Bengal, every caste, every creed, every religion stands equal and that is our biggest strength and our identity. And today, this is a fight for democracy, for your identity, for your home, and for your rights, a fight we must win together.
I urge every citizen of Bengal to support our Trinamool Congress candidates across the state and strengthen this collective resolve for continued progress.
It is as strange as it is revealing that Narendra Modi and Amit Shah seem to locate Bengal on the map only when elections are around the corner. They descend upon Bengal with their suitcases of lies, their entourages of cameramen and teleprompters, delivering rousing sermons and grand promises. And then, without exception, they vanish without a trace.
But where are they when North Bengal is ravaged by floods? When legitimate citizens are served NRC notices by Foreigners Tribunals? When genuine voters are harassed, humiliated, and disenfranchised? When tea garden workers are denied their Provident Fund dues by the Central Government? When people are shot dead in cold blood by Central Forces?
Nowhere. Because they were never here for the people. They were here for the votes. It is only Trinamool Congress that has stood beside the people, in every crisis, at every hour, without condition and without calculation. The Bangla-Birodhi Zamindars DEMAND your votes without DELIVERING anything in return. Our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkar DELIVERS without DEMANDING anything in return.
That was, is, and will always be the fundamental difference between us. And that is exactly why the people of Natabari, Jalpaiguri, and Kumargram will place their trust in Joraphool candidates Shri Sailen Barma, Shri Krishna Das, and Shri Rajeev Tirkey. They have made their decision known.
Our Maa-Mati-Manush Sarkar has taken concrete steps to protect and promote Rajbanshi and Kamtapuri languages, including formally requesting their inclusion in the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution.
Yet, the Centre has maintained complete silence on this legitimate demand. Despite @narendramodi and @AmitShah making repeated visits and holding multiple rallies in Bengal, they have not uttered a single word about it.
Why is the @BJP4India Government at the Centre deliberately ignoring the aspirations of the people?
Bengal has a rich Bahurupi tradition, one of the oldest forms of folk art, where artists assume many forms, many faces, many identities. Today, we are witnessing a very different kind of Bahurupi. These Bahurupis watched in silence as the people of Bengal suffered and lost their lives during SIR. And now, they have arrived for a 15-day visit, wearing the mask of concern.
Their forms are many. At times they appear as BJP, misusing democratic institutions to disenfranchise our people and engineer demographic change. At times as CPI(M) and Congress, splitting votes to hand electoral advantage to Bangla-birodhi forces. And at times as ISF and AIMIM, provoking unrest to destabilise Bengal on the eve of elections. A thousand faces. One agenda. The destruction of Bengal.
But Bengal is wide awake, and Bengal will reject every single one of them. Since 2016, the people of Taldangra have stood with conviction behind Maa-Mati-Manush. The reception I received today at the janasabha in support of our candidate Shri Falguni Singhababu has put it beyond any doubt. Trinamool Congress will win. Taldangra will ensure it.
Bengal is defined by inclusivity, harmony, and togetherness. And that seems to have become a bitter pill for the Bangla-Birodhis to swallow. BJP and their B-teams are working with a calculated, ulterior motive to destabilise Bengal, stoke unrest ahead of the elections, and reap electoral benefit from the chaos they themselves unleash.
They want to poison minds, sow hatred, pit community against community, and paint Bengal as a lawless land. They are actively conspiring to impose President's Rule through the backdoor, so desperate are they to seize power by any means necessary. The people of Bengal will not allow this.
Today, at my janasabhas in Sagardighi, Suti, and Baisnabnagar, I was received with outstretched arms and open hearts. I have strongly called upon the people to exercise restraint, remain democratic in their conduct, refuse to be provoked, and above all, maintain peace. I say to the people with full conviction that we will let no harm befall you. With Babasaheb Ambedkar as our guiding light, we will continue to walk the path of the Constitution, uphold its values, and defend the rights and dignity of every citizen.
We will fight BJP's 'Divide and Rule' policy together, as one, and we will prevail. I call upon the people of these constituencies to cast their precious votes for our Maa-Mati-Manush candidates, Bayron Biswas, Emani Biswas, and Chandana Sarkar, and send a message that Bengal cannot be broken, bought, or bent.
I am deeply touched and honoured by the presence of thousands of mothers, brothers, and sisters at our Janasabhas in Nanoor, Burwan, and Nabagram. The love that the people of Birbhum and Murshidabad have always shown for Trinamool Congress is something I carry in my heart. I am humbled, and I am grateful. But today, even as I draw strength from the people, I cannot look away from the grave threats that surround our democracy.
The Gonotontro-Birodhi forces of BJP are attempting to poison the minds of our people through hatred and communal venom, hoping to tear apart the secular, inclusive fabric that has always bound Bengal together. We have seen the deliberate insult inflicted upon India's pride, Bengal's pride, Birbhum's pride, Kobiguru Rabindranath Tagore, by these very Bangla-Birodhi forces. The people have witnessed how established electoral norms have been violated to allow rigging to unfold in open sight, before a single vote has been cast.
Our people have been made to stand in humiliating queues merely to prove their right to belong, to retain a constitutional right that was never anyone else's to take from them. I ask those very people to stand in a queue once more, on polling day, with their heads held high, and press the Joraphool symbol with conviction. I ask them to vote for Bidhan Chandra Majhi, Pratima Rajak, and Pranab Chandra Das, and to give Bohiragoto BJP the decisive response they deserve.
Bengal is our pride and our motherland. We will protect it until our last breath.
In Narayangarh, Panskura Paschim, and Debra, the unprecedented tidal wave of people that surged to attend Smt. @MamataOfficial’s public rallies stands as resounding testimony to their trust and faith in our Maa-Mati-Manush government.
Those who have dared to insult the cultural ethos of Bengal and imported the venomous politics of division will soon confront the resolute verdict of our people. The collapse of their authoritarian overreach is near.
To live with dignity and self-respect, the people of Bengal must deliver their mandate in favour of development and harmony, thereby uprooting @BJP4India from the soil of Bengal.
Therefore, in the constituencies of Narayangarh, Keshiary, Dantan, Debra, and Panskura Paschim, we urge the electorate to overwhelmingly support our candidates by voting for the Joraphool symbol and securing their resounding victory.
Joy Bangla!
What we are witnessing is deeply concerning. There are growing indications of a coordinated attempt to interfere with the democratic rights of the people of Bengal - with the BJP at the centre of it and the ECI seemingly looking the other way.
People deserve to know what is happening to their votes. This isn’t a small issue- It goes to the very heart of free and fair elections.
We are receiving credible reports from several districts that large numbers of Form 6 applications (New Voters) are being submitted in a questionable manner. These are not routine additions. There are serious concerns that many of these entries may be linked to individuals who have no real connection to Bengal—people who don’t live here, don’t work here and have no stake in the state.
The video only adds to these concerns. It appears to show thousands of such forms being processed and stacked, raising valid questions about the scale and intent behind this exercise.
We have seen similar concerns being raised in other states during elections. Bengal cannot be allowed to go down that path.
Take a moment to watch this. Ask questions. Because this is not just about politics- it’s about protecting the integrity of our vote. This is the kind of “PARIBORTON” the BJP seeks to impose on Bengal.
The Election Commission must answer.
BJP and its B-team, the ‘Vanish Commission’, are sending Observers to Bengal to alter the election outcome through unfair means. These “Observers” are individuals with special proximity to the BJP; individuals with criminal antecedents; individuals accused in corruption and bribery cases.
But the real “Observers” are the people of Bengal. And they have been watching. They have watched every rupee of Bengal's rightful funds withheld. Every legitimate voter erased. Every constitutional office weaponised against this state. Every attempt to bend Bengal to its knees and force it to beg for what is rightfully its own.
Now, the time has come for the people to respond in the only language the BJP understands. Straight-out rejection. The people of Dhupguri and Kalchini are fully prepared. Every single vote for our candidates Dr. Nirmal Chandra Roy and Shri Birendra Bara will land like a bolt of lightning on a party that mistook Bengal's patience for submission.
Your reckoning is here. Brace for impact.
After their dastardly attack at the residence of State Minister Smt. Shashi Panja, leaders of @BJP4India are now openly instigating violence against Smt. @MamataOfficial.
They are calling for bombs to be hurled and for arms to be taken up against elected public representatives, believing that their intimidation and saffron gundagardi will break our resolve.
They clearly do not understand who they are up against. Bengal will not bow. Bengal will not budge. Bengal will not yield. The politics of violence, hatred, fear, and terror propagated by BJP will be decisively rejected and crushed by the people of Bengal.
This is NOT an LPG shortage. This is a MANUFACTURED CRISIS. Servers crashed deliberately. Distribution systems disrupted on purpose. Cylinders withheld from ordinary families by design.
This is @BJP4India's idea of governance. Treat the nation as your personal FIEFDOM. Play petty politics with people's kitchens. Let children go hungry while you perfect your next PR stunt.
The Union Government had every tool at its disposal. Subsidies could have been released. Distribution could have been restored. They CHOSE not to. A government that can move mountains for its CRONIES and CORPORATES couldn't be bothered to ensure a family gets a gas cylinder.
The Modi government doesn't distribute gas cylinders. It distributes JUMLAS. And the people of this country have had ENOUGH.

Smt. @MamataOfficial leads the way, and thousands walk behind her.
This is a fight against the cruel, heartless, vindictive, Jono-Birodhi Modi Government that has forced families to return to firewood, mothers to ration food for their children, school-going students to go without Mid-Day Meals, small businesses to shut down, auto drivers to hike fares, and daily commuters to bear the burden.
If a government cannot even ensure that the fire in a household kitchen keeps burning, it has no moral right to remain in power.
