Owaisi chose his country over partisan politics During OP Sindoor

Kamal Haasan chose his country over partisan politics against the attacks of a Foreign Oligarch

Guess what leader of Indian opposition Rahul Gandhi did on both occasions

Watching Elon Musk this week has been a fascinating character study in the saviour complex of Western tech billionaires.

They arrive in your country selling you the future. Welcome them, and you’re a country that wants progress. Make them wait, and suddenly your people are victims who need rescuing from their own institutions by the chosen one.

It’s a pattern. When Thai rescuers didn’t use the mini-submarine Musk sent for the trapped boys, and diver Vernon Unsworth called the idea impractical, Musk attacked him as the “pedo guy.”

When Brazil’s Supreme Court ordered X to comply with its rulings, Musk called the judge a “dictator.”

The script rarely changes. Only the country does.

The colonial mindset isn’t always about wanting to rule a country. Sometimes it’s the assumption that you arrive as its saviour, and if the country doesn’t immediately recognise you as one, something must be wrong with the country.

Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, the leader of opposition, was killed in Kashmir. Nehru was the PM. Let that sink in.

Muslims will vote for the Congress until they become the majority, then they will vote for one of their own.

That's how India will end.

Hindus should not harbour anger against Muslims even if the latter want to destroy and kill us all. We should face death bravely. If Muslims established their rule after killing all Hindus, we would be ushering in a new India. - Mahatma Gandhi

Wishing you a happy Gandhi Jayanti.

How can any non-local construct this on tribal land, since non-locals are barred from purchasing land under Article 371A?

Retweet this tweet if you think Abhijeet Dipke, Saurav Das, and Ashutosh Ranka should be arrested under UAPA for waging a regime change war against our country with the help of foreign powers.

They should be put behind bars with their friend Umar Khalid.

Many of you have sent me clips of Shehzad from his sensational debut in "Rise & Fall S2". While he & I don't get speak, it's interesting that we both agree Dr. Sudhanshu Trivedi is the "Sachin Tendulkar" of Indian debates & amongst the best spokesperson in the country.

Wishing Shehzad Poonawalla all the best. May he occupy the penthouse & like our fav Virrender Sehwag; may he keep hitting them out of the park in Season 2!!

Dear Mr Javed Akhtar. Alhamdulillah. The quote is from Maulana Azad's Calcutta Speech. The speech was published in Khutbat-e-Azad. Here is the link: https://t.co/yXkvYTTW1j

The Maulana is exhorting the Indian Muslims to unite with Muslims around the world and save the Caliphate. He begins by stating that all relationships in the world can break down, father can turn against son, brother against brother, mother can shun her child but the relationship of a Muslim with a Muslim can never be severed.

The Maulana then continues: if even a grain of the soul of Islam is still alive in its followers, then if a thorn enters the foot of a Turk on the field of battle, I swear by Allah that no Muslim of Hindustan is a Muslim until he feels that prick in his own heart. For the Millat of Islam is one body, and Muslims, wherever they are, are its limbs. If a finger of the hand is cut, the rest of the body cannot remain at peace until it has felt the blow. This is not rhetoric. It is the plain meaning of the well-known hadith which Imam Ahmad related: the Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, said that the likeness of the believers in their mutual love, mercy and compassion is that of one body: when one limb complains, the whole body responds with sleeplessness and fever. And there is the other hadith, related by Abu Musa al-Ash‘ari: The believer to the believer is like a building; each part supports the other. This is the first and last distinguishing mark of the people of Islam, to which the Qur’an itself has pointed.

Then, to reinforce Muslim unity, Maulana Azad provides his commentary after quoting the Quranic verse 48: 29.

The Messenger of Allah and those with him are severe against the Kafirs, merciful among themselves.

Whatever hardness they have is for falsehood and unbelief; whatever love and tenderness they have is for truth, sincerity, Islam and Tawhid. So be extremely hard against disbelievers but extremely sympathetic and kind among ourselves; take heed, then, and do not pass over this as if you had not heard it.

P.S. This is the second time I am enlightening you on your heroes and their lifelong sociopolitical stances. The first time was when you refused to believe that books were banned, editors sacked, films blocked, and Majrooh jailed, under Nehru's rule. Please don't ask me about Gandhi next - the Mahatma, not Rahul, though both are probably your heroes. Cheers, WDTP
