it’s wild how heartbreak feels so singular when you’re in it. like damn, how has anyone ever survived this? then you read books and listen to music and talk to people, and realise the heartbreak club is literally almost everyone in the world. nearly everyone is walking around having survived some unbearable grief or sorrow. it is impossible to live fully and come out unscathed
