#WATCH | Delhi: On NEET Paper leak case, Advocate Tanvi Dubey says, "... We are for the main petitioners, which is the petition filed on behalf of FAIMA. Today, Prima facie asked the government certain pointers which they should include in their affidavit. The government also gave assurance to the court that they are going to consider all the suggestions which are falling from the court. The court also highlighted and made the government write down certain important points which, as per them, are very, very crucial for all the future years. And the Court has highlighted a very important thing in today's hearing, which is institutionalisation of NTA. So this is something which was very important and which was highlighted in today's hearing before the Supreme Court. We have also submitted suggestions, a list of suggestions to the Court and also to NTA. Because in NTA's affidavit it was mentioned that from next year it will be a computer-based test. So we have mentioned that considering that it will be a computer-based test, it's very important that in advance they submit to us a blueprint of the standard operating procedures, the SOPs, in advance, so the students know how the exam will be and what is their planning when it comes to the conduct of the exam. Because 20-22 lakh students wrote the exam last year, and approximately the same number may write it next year. So it can't be possible that one city may have five or six centres for such a big examination. If they are having multiple centres. There has to be a very strict yardstick and very strict mechanism ensuring encryption, ensuring that the response sheets which are saved in the computer are totally protected. So that is something that we have today prayed from the Supreme Court: that those suggestions should also be taken on record. A demo test should be provided well in advance to the students. The court has given today one week's time to the government to file its affidavit with all these things, which the court has also told them. And accordingly, the matter is now listed next Monday."
The Supreme Court directed the Centre to file a detailed affidavit outlining the steps already taken, and those proposed to prevent future paper leaks- Advocate Tanvi Dubey explains the key details of the hearing.

VIDEO | Delhi: Tanvi Dubey advocate for Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) on Supreme Court hearing on NEET paper leak, says, "Today the Supreme Court was hearing a batch of petitions challenging the conduct of NEET UG and especially in the wake of the paper leak which happened in the year 2026 and thereafter there was another exam which was conducted. We filed the petition on behalf of FAIMA. So, today's hearing was very crucial because the government has given assurance to the court on many aspects. The government has said that we are taking positive steps and also the government has assured the court that we are ready to take your suggestions, we are ready to accept the court's suggestions. So, that is also an acceptance that a very big assurance that the government has given in today's hearing. Although the court has highlighted again and again during the hearing that they want institutionalisation of NTA. So they are not looking at a very small issue here only for this year, but they are looking at it for the future also that this type of paper leak does not happen in future and therefore they are looking at institutionalisation. They have made the government to note down few points which the government should incorporate in their affidavit. One week time is given to the government to file their affidavit with all the points which the honourable Supreme Court has directed them to be in the affidavit."

#WATCH | Delhi: On moving the Supreme Court against the National Testing Agency (NTA) following the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak and subsequent cancellation, Advocate Tanvi Dubey representing FAIMA, says, "This petition has been filed on behalf of the Federation of All India Medical Associations (FAIMA). It comes in the backdrop of the massive NEET-UG paper leak. Our primary demand is that the NTA be dissolved or fundamentally restructured. It must be replaced by a technologically advanced, autonomous, and accountable body established by the Union Government or under judicial supervision. For these aspiring candidates, their entire careers hinge on this national entrance examination. How can we tolerate a systemic failure of this magnitude in such a critical test? We have put forth several specific demands within this petition…We have also demanded that, before the conduct of the next examination, a committee be constituted to thoroughly examine the entire process, and only then should the next exam be held…”
Delhi: Advocate for the petitioner Federation of All India Medical Associations Tanvi Dubey says, "Today was a very important hearing because after the last hearing, the NTA and the chairperson of the committee presented an affidavit. In that affidavit, some things were told that how the committee and NTA have complied with the directions of the Supreme Court and what steps will be applied for the upcoming exam. The hearing of the Supreme Court was also important because today an important statement was given by the government by the Solicitor General that the PM himself is monitoring this..."
Delhi: The Federation of All India Medical Association (FAIMA) has moved the Supreme Court alleging systemic failure by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in conducting NEET UG 2026.
Advocate Tanvi Dubey says, "This petition has been filed in the backdrop of the NEET UG paper leak issue. Our primary demand is that the National Testing Agency (NTA) should be dissolved and replaced with an autonomous and more accountable body. We have also stated that such repeated incidents are occurring. Last year, a petition was filed in the name of Vamshika Yadav in the Supreme Court, and a committee was also formed. Several concerns were raised by the Supreme Court regarding how such systemic failures are happening in a national-level examination, where the future of lakhs of students and future doctors depends on it. How can we afford such a failure in such an important examination?..."
#WATCH | Delhi | On NEET (UG) 2026 paper leak case, Tanvi Dubey, Advocate representing Federation of All India Medical Association’s plea, says, “Today was an important hearing of NEET because NTA and the chairperson of the committees filed their affidavits. Supreme Court conducted a detailed hearing… The Supreme Court questioned the Chairman as to which areas are yet to comply. The SC also gave an important observation that accountability is important, as systemic failures are a result of a lack of accountability. The Solicitor General also gave the statement that the case is being monitored by PM Modi… The court has kept this matter pending as they want to observe the matter… The next hearing has been scheduled in July…”
VIDEO | Delhi: Federation of All India Medical Association files PIL in Supreme Court over systemic failure of NTA in conducting NEET UG 2026; writ focuses on replacement of NTA with independent body.
Advocate Tanvi Dube, Counsel for FAIMA says, “The primary prayers in the writ petition, which has been filed through FIMA, focus on replacing the NTA with an independent body responsible for conducting such national-level examinations. We have highlighted the fact that this is a repeated issue that has been occurring for years, where some kind of discrepancy arises in these examinations. Lakhs of aspiring doctors appear for these exams with great hopes and aspirations. Therefore, we have prayed for the appointment of a high-powered committee by the court to monitor the entire examination process. In the meantime, since the next examination is likely to be scheduled very soon because the current exam has been cancelled, we have requested that the entire process for the upcoming examination be conducted under the supervision of the court and the committee appointed by it, so that such repeated incidents do not occur again.”

Delhi: On the Mathura Banke Bihari Temple matter, Advocate Tanvi Dubey says, "Today, both matters were listed in the Court—the miscellaneous application as well as the writ petition. In the MA, we highlighted several observations made in the Supreme Court’s order dated 8th August that are factually inconsistent with our records. For example, there were certain issues regarding the composition of the management committee, some matters related to fund allocation by the management committee, and certain historical records which, in our view, do not match the actual historical position..."
