@BroB0110@WilcoFtbl I wish it was irrelevant. He’s at Liverpool for no other reason than he’s a scouser. He has 1 good game in 5, does a nice couple of flicks and turns and a certain section of fans treat him like the second coming of pirlo. No consistency, desperately needs to be upgraded.
@TalkofLFC Klopp had a clear way of playing that the players bought into, there was always the feeling he would turn it around. Slot has no clue what style he is trying to implement.
@TalkofLFC@IrishLivReds Wrong, because they don’t have a manager who is trying to be pep. In his dreams. We need to get the ball into the attacking 3rd as quick as possible, this style of football has drained the clean life out of anfield.
@eddiegibbs After years of elevated expectations, the fanbase seems to be slipping toward the mediocre standards that used to plague Liverpool’s culture

@NeilLfc_5@LFC_OxyGen Not a slot fan myself , however Curtis jones has never been, and never will be good enough for Liverpool. Absolutely stealing a living, one good game In five. We keep him around though because he’s a scouser.
@RandolphMcMurp@eddiegibbs It’s far too overthought now. This style will never work at anfield.Slot was the calm we needed after the storm of losing klopp but we now need a personality we can get behind again.I have a feeling fsg are waiting for the end of the CL league stage to make a change.
@RandolphMcMurp@eddiegibbs The worst part is that for the first 6 months we had to listen to him prattle on about how similar his style was to klopps. Such an insult to klopp.
@eddiegibbs Beautiful as always. His time is up, however I don’t think Alonso is the nailed on replacement most fans think he is. It wouldn’t surprise me if fsg went left field again with the next appointment.
@talkSPORT If the game had unfolded the exact same way but with Barnsley winning 4-1 at anfield, would he have given the motm to our left winger Ngumoha? no chance. That’s the problem I have, it should be facts over feelings.
@eddiegibbs@MeeroyLFC You’re spot on Eddie,I would love to know what his actual plan is in terms of style and how far away he thinks we are from executing it. When he first joined he said his playing style was similar to klopps, what an insult to klopp.Emery is the man, quick aggressive direct football.
@LFCCommenter_@LFC_OxyGen I don’t even think we did. In a few games maybe, the intensity and pressing was there vs Real Madrid and City, but we were still passive in a lot of games especially from Jan onwards. He’s gaslighted us into believing the PSG game was close,it’s was a robbery we took it to pens.
@empireofthekop ‘Not the only team’ comments like this are the most deflating. It really hits home that we are just another team now,we’ve lost every advantage that klopp had spent years building up,no repeatable style of play, starting from zero all over again.
