@SentryDusk@GoyGems@WokelyCorrect The other part of this is that we can't trust people either. If we decided to even remove just a few officers, a few morally deprived people would think committing crime would be easier and keep committing crime. We can't just trust one another to always make the right choice.
@SentryDusk@GoyGems@WokelyCorrect The problem with this solution is that officers are meant to meet a quota, and are there to prevent further crime to take place, and I don't buy into the theory that police officers taze and beat up people for no good reason. So, what else does the solution entail?
@SentryDusk@GoyGems@WokelyCorrect No I didn't? If you can actually grow a spine, you can see I didn't even say that once. Where are you pulling these words from. So try to explain to me how defunding the police works without crime rates skyrocketing you jackass.
@SentryDusk@GoyGems@WokelyCorrect [3] The Minnesota supreme court got involved and told them that they needed at least 731 officers. While Minneapolis is still a bit short, the city aggressively put funding into the department. While crime is still higher than pre-2020 stats, they have managed to lower crime.
@SentryDusk@GoyGems@WokelyCorrect [2] The numbers of homicides went from 46 in 2020 to 96 in 2021. Gun violence surged with 500 gunshot wound victims (also doubled from 2020), etc. Crime rose 49% in just a single year. However, Minneapolis turned itself around after that year.
@TMZ What a shitty world we live in where parents have to fear for their lives because people are retarded and don't like justice being rightfully served.
@Epstinys_Finest@sfali789@CarmineSabia TIME Magazine has had recent bias for Democratic candidates and politicians and is further to the left on social issues. Try again.
@MiningSC@MrOxygenThief@DelusionPosting And? Why should it matter? It isn't disrespectful. Even Ronald Reagan was known for saluting during the national anthem.
