In last 25 years we increased our literacy rate by 15%. Now 63% of population is literate. At this rate of improvement we will have 100% literacy in 2088, 62 years from now! The world is rapidly moving to a knowledge/info economy. With tens of millions not even literate we are condemning large part of the population to continued poverty for generations. Economy will continue to struggle, social disorder will increase, security of citizens threatened. No amount of guns will be able to handle this national security threat. Looks like both Iran and US believe time is on their side. US believes that Iran oil storage has filled to capacity and cut back in oil production is now required, causing major economic loss to Iran. Some independent reports also saying increasing shortages of critical supplies including food in Iran. On the other hand Iran believes that global oil reserves have run down by more than a billion barrels and we are getting close to a stage where physical shortages of petroleum products will become serious first in Asia and then Europe. This will spike up oil prices sharply, which is the biggest pain point politically for @realDonaldTrump. So far Trump has successfully contained oil price hikes for several weeks by repeatedly talking about an imminent deal without any change of the situation on the ground. Hope my assessment is incorrect but based on what we have seen and heard, there does not seem to be any imminent deal. If the current status quo is maintained be ready to see much bigger economic shock to the economy.

Today's paper carry a story about resurgence in petroleum smuggling from iran. We spent billions fencing the border. We have heavy presence of multiple agencies. You can use low cost drones to give 24/7 coverage of the area. What possible justification for continued smuggling? Who is being held accountable?

Investment has crashed over the last few years. In the last 50 years the two lowest year's of Investment have been the last 2 years! Imagine, even during years of major floods or massive earthquake or a global pandemic like covid, Investment had not fallen this low!!!

Now that whole nation can see the contents of the Cypher. Here is what I wrote in my statement to the JIT set up to investigate the cypher" when faced with threats from a foreign power and interference in internal affairs of the country, the national leadership taking the nation into confidence, is the right thing to do". Which self respecting man who believes in sovereignty of his nation would think otherwise? The worst comment from one of the members of the JIT was that we have recieved many threats like this in the past. I replied that if we did and stayed quite, that means we had no self respect!
