N2O is a greenhouse gas (GHG) with a global warming potential 265 times that of carbon dioxide.
The Ascend project destroys N2O emissions at the source, preventing GHGs from entering the atmosphere. The emission reductions are permanent and are continuously monitored to back the high-quality carbon credits with verifiable data. Industrial and technology projects like the one with Ascend create pathways for hard-to-abate industries to pursue decarbonization and a low-carbon future.
