You're the climber. I'm your coach. Metabolic health coaching, virtual, across Ontario. No hype, no shame. Start with the free 2 minute readiness quiz.
You have tried the diets. You know how that story ends. Coaching works differently. You are the climber. I am the coach. You set the summit, I help you build a pace that holds on an ordinary Tuesday. Find out where you are standing on the mountain. Free, 2 minutes. https://t.co/7Vl2t7cttj
Every method this practice uses is listed on one page, grouped by claim, with every source linked. Where the evidence is strong it says so. Where it is thin it says that too. Bring your skepticism: https://t.co/bZsyhd80b0
Somebody at the table always has an objection, and most of them are reasonable. Here are plain answers to the common ones, written to be checked rather than believed: https://t.co/sXCqAGtQBr
Scale check, because this is where most food headlines fall apart. Associations reported for unprocessed red meat usually sit below a relative risk of 1.25. Researchers treat observational findings under about 1.5 to 2.0 as fragile. Smoking and lung cancer sits between 10 and 30. Same word, different universe.
A 2022 analysis in Nature Medicine graded the evidence linking unprocessed red meat to disease on a five star scale. Heart disease, two stars. Type 2 diabetes, two stars. Colorectal cancer, two stars. Stroke, one star, meaning no association found. Weak evidence of harm is not proof of safety, but it is not the certainty you were sold either.
Four questions turn a scary food headline into something you can actually judge. What kind of study is behind this? How large is the effect, really? Who paid for it? What was eaten instead? That is the whole skill, and it takes about a minute per headline.
What I do on a discovery call: listen, mostly. Where you are, what you have tried, what an honest first section of trail could look like. What I never do: pitch you a meal plan or diagnose anything. Fifteen minutes, free, and you leave with a clearer map either way. Booking link is on the site.
Knowing what to eat is one thing. Knowing what to cook at half past five on a Tuesday is another. Eight vetted recipe sites, sorted by how you actually cook, free: https://t.co/Ui5oZLx4fn
Keto flu is not a detox and it is not a rite of passage. It is mineral loss, and it is almost entirely preventable. Getting ahead of it is the highest value habit of the first two weeks: https://t.co/StDBixub7C
Change has five stages, and "not ready yet" is one of them, not a failure of one. Most diets fail because they hand stage five instructions to someone standing at stage two. Find your stage first, in 2 minutes, free: https://t.co/mkcrrzSPok
A slip is not a fall. On the trail we treat it as intel: what was the terrain, what was the load, what would a better route look like next week. No shame, just a map update.
If this week's posts had you thinking "that might be me", the next step is not a diet. It is 2 minutes of honesty about where you are standing. The free readiness quiz, 2 minutes, no pressure: https://t.co/mkcrrzTndS
Coaching should stand on more than enthusiasm. Every method I use is listed on one page, grouped by claim, with every source linked so you can check it yourself. Skeptics welcome. In fact, preferred: https://t.co/bZsyhd80b0
New in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology: people who returned to normal blood sugar from prediabetes went on to have fewer cardiovascular events over the long term.
Caveats first: post-hoc analysis, association not proof. But "remission" entering the prediabetes conversation matters. The window before diagnosis is not a waiting room. Diagnosis and medication stay with your doctor. What you do with the window is where the daily work lives.

You did not fall off the wagon. There is no wagon. There is a trail, and you are still on it, standing at the exact spot where the last attempt taught you something. The question is not "why did I quit?" It is "what does the map say now?"
Your annual physical produces more information than the appointment has time to explain. Three of the most useful numbers are already sitting on your last blood test. Nobody calculated them, and one takes ten seconds with a phone calculator. The walkthrough: https://t.co/g9GD9725lf
Good news you did not expect from a health page: the steak was never the problem. Enjoy the barbecue. Keep an eye on the bun and the pop. Compliment the cook.
Our keto-friendly food list is a green, yellow and red map: what to build meals from, what to keep an eye on, what to leave at the trailhead. No counting needed to start: https://t.co/Lw1iAonaHy
The Lancet's ultra-processed food series is worth your time. Two findings stand out: UPFs are now more than half of what people eat in some countries, and in the most careful feeding study ever run, people offered an ultra-processed diet ate about 500 calories a day more without noticing.
That is not a willpower gap. That is engineering. The practical response fits in a grocery cart. https://t.co/RA9DlAjYl9
