@konold @simonmaechling Finally, chemist (at least pharmaceutical ch.) know that pharmacokinetics is relevant, so just having the same active ingredient does not make two drugs the same.

But still, all those things are chemicals, even if synthesised by natural processes.

@konold @simonmaechling Of course, different ways of synthesising / enriching a compound, might lead to different impurities, that could have an effect. But then, too, there's a _chemical_ difference in composition.

Beim Versuch, die Bahn effizienter zu machen wurden vermutlich Dinge weggekürzt, die langfristig eben doch nicht überflüssig waren - Investitionen in die Infrastruktur zB
Komplett unbrauchbar ist die Bahn nicht, aber die Pünktlichkeit ist in Japan deutlich besser

When I took the kids to the UK (as a German citizen) they wanted to see approval from my husband (also German).
Had completely overlooked that, but they were fine when I offered to call him back, since he had brought us to the airport.

Dass die Behandlung europäischer Aktivisten so breite Empörung auslöst, offenbart auch unsere Doppelstandards. Was bei palästinensischen Gefangenen relativiert oder ignoriert wird, wird bei Europäern richtigerweise als inakzeptabel benannt. Diese Doppelstandards sind falsch.

@txgermanbre In times, where we are talking about automation making not only blue- but also white collar workers redundant, shouldn't we discuss distribution of the wealth arising from technological advance instead of how to make people work more?
Labour is not the only source of taxes...

@txgermanbre The interesting question is what that reason is. Maybe we are just well off enough not to be forced to work. There is definitely quality of life in eg spending time with kids.

@txgermanbre In Japan I learned that US prudity destroyed Japanese mixed onsen culture. Onsen used to be mixed, but when Meiji opened Japan to "the west", that was sadly not seen as ok any more.

Countries should provide the infrastructure for their people to live happily.
But I agree: being guided by the 🇺🇸would-be king will do as little good as reacting to 🇪🇺 right wing demands.

Wenn man einen riesigen Systemwechsel auf der Einnahmenseite macht (Bürgerversicherung, in die alle einzahlen), kann man doch auch die Ausgabenseite reformieren? Wenn nein, warum nicht?
