A busy couple of days for the emergency services. I’d like to thank the public for cooperation and understanding in the millbay area of Plymouth. Thankfully all resolved with no issues. Thanks to partner agencies , fire ,EOD , army, navy , coastguard and rapid relief charity 👏
Wishing all of the emergency services working NYE a safe shift. I’ve done my fair share in 27 yrs and find it’s ok until about ….0003hrs!! Stay safe. Thankfully I’ve just finished a dayshift today.
Happy new year and hopefully a great 2026
Last week the South LPP team along with PDAS (domestic abuse service) collected toys kindly donated by staff from #Wilkos and delivered them directly to the women’s refuge. Ensuring all the kids will have presents to open on #Christmas morning. Big thanks to all staff! 🎅🏻🚔🎁🎉
A section are on for the late shifts across the weekend starting this evening #BlackeyeFriday. And I’m duty Sgt. Do enjoy yourself. Drink sensibly and always look out for each other. If you see us out, come and say Hi.
🤦♂️never the best move; driver pulls out onto main road from side road . Didn’t look right. Happens to be myself in marked car that they nearly collided with. Driver: ‘so sorry. I was in a rush and didn’t look. I was dropping my son to his theory driving test and he’s late’ 🤦♂️
The case succeeded due to her tenacity and drive to get the right result. Many ex colleagues attended and this shows how well liked she is.And she’s coming back as a civilian investigator soon. Well done Kathy !
Last evening myself and many still serving and retired officers attended a retirement do,for the retiring DC HARRIS. DC HARRIS worked tirelessly on Op Garcia. Safeguarding 5 female victims from predatory males. Many whom were jailed for a long time.Ultimately saving more victims.
What a great series #crashdetectives . Great work by @gwentpolice . And for the driver to say ‘ it ruined my day’ after crashing into and nearly killing a roadworker is beyond belief. That roadworker has life changing injuries . Collision team leave no stone unturned
#Freshers2025 Plymouth. I assisted the central and uni team working on lateshift Monday -Wednesday. Lovely to chat to the new arrivals.Gave out staying safe advice and promoted this great city. Fair few wanted photos as well.Vast majority were extremely polite. Good luck to all!
Today marks 13 years since our colleagues, PC Fiona Bone and PC Nicola Hughes, were tragically killed whilst on duty.
An annual memorial will take place within the memorial garden at #Hyde Police Station, to pay our respects and remember our brave officers.
