The @AsfMod challenge is progressing well! We just received the predictions for Period 1 of the #ASF epidemic and released the new data corresponding to Period 2. Will the fences be effective? Which control options could be implemented in synergy? Good luck modelling teams! 🤘

Finally! The #ASF Modelling Challenge has started! We are really excited. Nine teams from all over the world will play with the ASF epidemic data from Merry Island to unravel transmission patterns and support animal health policy in (almost) real time. Now let's have fun!😁

Dear Challengers, schools and uni are closed in many countries. This will likely impact research activities for most of us. Therefore, the KOM of @AsfMod is postponed. We are exploring options to do it online at a later date. Thx for your patience, we will get back to you asap!

Two weeks to go before the kick-off meeting of the @AsfMod challenge at @SVEPM2020! Despite the global public health crisis, the meeting is still going on. Remote attendance will be possible for those who can't join.
