BREAKING: Boston University transfer Ben Defty has committed to Arizona State.

The 7-foot center played two seasons at BU and started all 33 games this past season.

The German native averaged 15.1 PPG, 6.8 RPG, 1.9 APG and 1.7 BPG en route to earning All-Patriot League honors.

NEWS: Saint Mary’s transfer Dillan Shaw has committed to Arizona State, he told @LeagueRDY.

The 6-foot-7 freshman spent one season with Randy Bennett and the Gaels, averaging 7.5PPG, 5.4RPG and 1.5APG while shooting nearly 42% from 3.

BREAKING: Randy Bennett will be paid $3.5 million for his first year at ASU, with annual $100k increases in each of the next four seasons on a five-year deal, if approved by ABOR this week. Bennett's base pay would be borderline top-40 among public schools that report such info.

BREAKING: ASU has received a commitment from Gonzaga transfer SF Emmanuel Innocenti, a source said. The No. 24 SF in the 247Sports transfer portal, Innocenti averaged 6.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 24.3 minutes as a junior in 2025-26.
