@corlitholic Actual police officers dont wear skirts so I guess they might think it's trivializing a profession in which many women have to fight to be taken seriously. I think it's a bit overblown but that's their take I guess.
@joncfernandez The issue is that they are using IP that they do not own to advertise things which is wrong. I don't think there would be so much backlash if they were only representing themselves.
@Leaflit Unfortunately English voice actors tend to be unprofessional. I remeber seeing some make posters of the character they voice(and signing them) and profiting off them. Can you imagine that with disney? They often have an inflated sense of self importance.
@Thick_EYElash A lot of comments these days are just sexual harassment that would've gotten people doxed and canceled if &team were a gg. Can you imagine the backlash if a gg fan said that a member "was for public use"?
@LegendKnight14@kzzrttt Crazy considering a jp idols aren't very popular outside of Japan. Your more likely to find someone who knows who Maximum the Hormones is than King and Prince.
@Haruno_magic Smap and Arashi 's popularity is confined to East. Vocoloid has a global reach as anime and anime adjacent things are popular . There are also songs that have gone viral globally such as shoujo A (224m views)
@X6L7luxVTB80932@lunarontheblue That is only within japan. Anime related things are extremely popular overseas but jp idols are not (except baby metal) . Jp bands are also more popular than jp idols. Ask anyone overseas and they will associate Kaito with vocoloid.
@ax_0094 He's right though non japanese people who follow jp pop culture know Vocoloid Kaito. They may have heard of King& Prince but dont know individual member names.
@weirdalien254 Sejong's Powerpoint also included that the illit girls" mocked" them. This might be mhj's doing cause she was giving lawers a bunch of instructions despite "not being involved" but I seriously can't imagine my own lawyer making up shit on my behalf.
@ttalgi_here The thing is even if they do not sell the shoes in China sometimes the factories making the shoes will cancel existing contracts over things like this/ 1 China policy so sometimes it's safer for companies to do what China wants.
