Thank you, Rev. Dr. Tolesa Gudina, for standing up for the truth! As someone who grew up in Mekane Yesus and is still a member, I believe in telling the truth as it is, without sugarcoating it. The Oromo culture should be respected just like any other culture in Ethiopia. But my Christian Oromo brothers and sisters need to put their Christian faith first over other religious traditions that don’t intertwine with the Christian beliefs.
BREAKING: ENDF Troops Captured by Fano Speak Out!
ENDF troops captured by Fano told Ethio 251 Media. “It's been five years since I joined the ENDF, and the longing for home is intense. My family misses me dearly, and I miss them terribly—my son, my father, and my mother. I was captured by Fano on September 24, 2025.
The government claims there's no army that can be captured by Fano, but rather, we're the ones who capture Fano. However, over 300 troops are currently being held captive by Fano. It was previously said that capturing Fano would bring death, but my experience has been different. As an Oromo, I've had a surprising experience: Fano has been taking care of me since my capture. Many friends fell in battle with Fano, but by the grace of God, I survived. Now, my sole desire is to see my son again. The ENDF is plagued by corruption, and it's no secret that nobody wants to remain in the force. The Red Cross should reach us before the government hits us with a drone.”
