@Itachi1k@ValorINTEL Have you seen a single KC match since they got rid of engh and promoted Ze1sh to HC? ACs can have a different vision from their HCs
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife I didn't say hate, they didn't value the life and suffering of an animal over a meal of theirs. Is it not true one values the meal more, which is why they choose to eat meals that exploit them? Also, vegetables don't have a nervous system. I don't care for their "feelings"
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife There's ways you can do LESS harm and MORE harm. "would you rather kill 23 people or 1" "well either way I'm killing people so I'll just go for 23 I guess" I'm the one saying we should change and improve society by reducing our harm.
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife So they value an animal less than a meal? Could someone really do that and then claim to be an animal lover? She didn't say all nonvegans absolutely hated animals and wanted all of them to die, unless you can provide me a quote I missed. Either way, this is far from my main point
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife Also, as you brought up the Billie Eilish thing: all she said is that someone who eats meat is not an animal lover. Is this not true, in general, as by eating meat, one says that this one meal for them is more important than the lifelong suffering of the animal?
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife So tell me, what's not realistic about the average person being vegan? I'm not saying everyone on Earth. Let's go even with you, for example. If you don't want to cause undue and unnecessary suffering, why is it unrealistic for you specifically?
@aceredshirt13@rkiveofmylife I totally agree we should synthesize our food. But the thing is, in the meantime, that's just impossible. Should we not minimize suffering in the meantime as well? Even ignoring that plants have no nervous system (i.e. no feelings), if plants feel pain, shouldn't we reduce that?
