It’s a bit jarring that it’s taken this long for the Phillies to miss out on a free agent because they couldn’t compete financially with the Dodgers/Mets. It felt like Bichette was going to fall into their laps.

IMO, they have the money, they have so much coming off after this season that they could have gone there. You miss out on a potentially WS winning bat and now the window is almost closed.
