just wanted to give everyone a quick heads up. i'm heading to sleepaway camp for the next month, and we don't get phones or any screens, so i won't be able to post or reply while i'm there. thanks to everyone who's supported me and the account. i'll be back on july 27 with a lot more content. see you all then.
Brad Stevens doesn’t miss
This kid was a 5 star that battled adversity and never had a bad day
One of the best defenders in the draft and will help Boston way sooner than his draft position would indicate
🚨 𝐁𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆:
the detroit pistons are acquiring isaiah joe from the oklahoma city thunder for two future second-round picks.
the pistons land one of the nba's best high-volume three-point shooters to put alongside cade cunningham. meanwhile, okc adds even more draft capital after also moving aaron wiggins.

🚨 the boston celtics have demanded four first-round picks in trade talks involving jaylen brown, per @ShamsCharania.
that's a massive asking price and shows boston isn't looking to move him unless they're blown away by an offer.
mark williams is staying in phoenix!
the restricted free agent is signing a fully guaranteed 3-year, $38 million deal to return to the suns, per espn.
he averaged 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 block in 23.6 minutes per game as phoenix's starting center last season.

bam worked out pretty well despite being considered undersized for a center. he became an all-star, an elite defender, and one of the most versatile bigs in the nba.
i don’t really get why people keep saying zuby won’t make it. his measurements are extremely close to bam’s, he’s actually a little heavier, tested similarly athletically, and has shown he can be a physical interior presence. obviously matching bam’s career is a huge ask because bam is one of the best defensive bigs of his generation, but acting like zuby can’t succeed because of his size doesn’t make much sense when a player with nearly identical physical tools became an nba star.
the boston #celtics got dillon mitchell! as a huge st. john's fan who watched every game, here's what celtics fans should know:
• elite athlete and one of the best lob threats in the class
• acrobatic finisher who throws down highlight dunks
• versatile defender who can guard multiple positions
• projects as a wing/small-ball 4 at the nba level
• had a bit of a midseason slump but bounced back in a big way during march madness
• not a three-point shooter, does most of his damage at the rim and from the mid-range
• free-throw shooting still needs work
• recently became a father, which adds another layer of maturity and motivation
i'm really excited to see how he develops in boston. i think celtics fans are going to love the energy, athleticism, and defense he brings.
@Libermaniac11 he is not the type of player who shoots, he’s more of a dunker and defender. his shooting needs a lot of work, but they drafted him for his defensive skills and his dunking. but you are right, it needs work
