grateful for the ones that meet me wherever i am in whichever stage of life i am navigating through, the ones that see me fully beyond my circumstances and in low phases, the ones that fuel the love i should have for myself instead of leaving me on empty, the ones like this.
You’re maturing when you want to invest in deep relationships, want to understand who you actually are, and realize that other people don’t need to validate your experience or opinions.
Today the Holy Spirit taught me this when I was meditating on Proverbs 23:7
{As a man thinks, so is he}
You're not befriending your friends, you're befriending their mindset too.
You're not just getting married to that spouse, you're getting married to their mindset too
And WOW
A beautiful part of getting older is appreciating your time more — becoming intentional about spending it with loved ones, pursuing interests, actively learning, creating, helping others and not feeling bad about saying no to things that aren’t adding value to my life experience.
