Year 6 have made some wonderful curries as part of their Design and Technology lessons this afternoon.
They have prepped the ingredients, applied their knowledge of food hygiene and have ended with some beautiful dishes to share

A beautiful morning yesterday filled with wonderful Eid crafts
Year 5 finished off the day with an incredible class assembly which detailed many of the important aspects of Eid and Ramadan

This morning, we welcomed Clare Francis-Slater in who is the Founder and Director of Diversity Days Everyday!
She taught our pupils across the Academy all about the Windrush Generation and also shared a beautiful story with our KS1 pupils.

A wonderfully inspirational day!
We had the pleasure in hosting Rohan Bhuhi, a hockey player for Great Britain, who joined us to inspire our KS2 pupils!

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend our fair this week
The turnout was fantastic and we managed to raise a profit of Β£325 as a school.
We are going to ask our Academy Council what they would like to spend this money on so please watch this space for their decisions.

Ash Croft had the pleasure of welcoming in Rev Fiona Barber from Sinfin Moor Church yesterday.
We shared the story of Christmas and the pupils got a chance to see the βPeace Lightβ in real life.
