Exploring forgotten corners of crypto, one onchain discovery at a time.

What's interesting is how quickly speculative appetite returned after the latest BTC rebound.

When meme assets start outperforming the majors, I pay attention to whether trading volume follows the price.

A fast pump is one thing. Sustainable demand is another.

DOGE just outperformed the entire major crypto market

Dogecoin surged more than 15% during Tuesday's Asian trading session, while Bitcoin gained around 5% over 24 hours.

XRP and SOL also recovered, but DOGE led the move.

Bastion is moving closer to becoming a federally regulated trust bank

Stablecoin infrastructure provider Bastion has received conditional approval from the OCC for a U.S. national trust bank charter.

[AshenByte @AshenByte8]

The proposed entity would combine stablecoin custody, wallets, payment infrastructure and white-label issuance.

It still needs to satisfy the remaining conditions before beginning operations.

Markets were more focused on the Fed signaling only limited additional tightening rather than the hike itself.

Sometimes the path ahead matters more than the decision everyone already expected.

[AshenByte @AshenByte8]

Crypto rallied through the Fed’s first hike since 2023

The Fed raised rates by 25 bps this week.

Bitcoin still moved higher afterward.

The reason seems pretty simple:

[AshenByte @AshenByte8]

That makes this much bigger than one platform.

A Supreme Court ruling could eventually decide whether prediction markets answer mainly to the CFTC or individual states.

[AshenByte @AshenByte8]

The Kalshi fight could reach the Supreme Court

New Jersey has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to decide whether states can regulate sports prediction contracts offered by platforms like Kalshi.

Different appeals courts have reached different conclusions.

The exchange cited unresolved or unexplained security incidents involving wallets or infrastructure connected to the asset.

For older tokens, exchange support can matter just as much as market sentiment.
